We were fascinated by a recent article published by Time Magazine that looked at the power of self-fulfilling prophecies when it comes to overconfidence and paranoia.

In the article, it examined various experiments that set out to discover why overconfident people – regardless of their abilities – seem to rise to the top (which may explain why sometimes seemingly ineffective people get promoted!) and whether we can in fact manifest our fears to actually occur.
